You should be
aware that it is impossible to prevent a determined person from
breaking into you home. These are some fairly simple steps you can
take to make it more difficult for someone to gain entry into your
home. The more difficult is is to gain entry, the more time it takes.
The more time it takes, the more likley detection becomes and they
will move on to an easier target.
A good home
security system is an excellent option and while it will not prevent
break-ins, it will limit the time an invader feels they can spend
inside them home and possibly influence them to pick another
location. Signs advertising a home security system can also act as a
deterrent.
